Ernie passed away on May 31, 2008 at the age of 57. Ernie will be greatly missed by his loving wife and best friend Gerrie; his three daughters; Brandi Howe of Abbotsford, BC, Amanda O’Heir (Jason Middlemiss) of Calgary, AB, Ashley McMurphy of Kelowna BC; two sons: Darcy O’Heir (Angela), Kyle McMurphy both of Kelowna, BC; four grandchildren; parents, Grace and Charlie Howe of Kelowna; one sister: Fern Hickson (Marvin) of Grande Prairie, AB and numerous nieces and nephews. Born February 23, 1951 in Edmonton, AB, Ernie was a devoted husband and family man. He loved cooking and gardening. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 pm prior to service. A Funeral Service will be held on June 7, 2008 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
