FLORIN MACLEAN
(July 2, 1937 - November 25, 2014)
Our mother, grandmother, sister and much loved friend, Florin MacLean, passed away peacefully after a short illness.
Born in central Saskatchewan, Florin was the 10th of 13 children. She enjoyed a happy and 'crowded' childhood. She loved horses and music, playing both the accordion and organ, exclusively by ear.
Florin spent most of her working life in the beauty industry. She was both talented and passionate in the field, evident to those who knew her. Mom was extremely spiritual and found great comfort in The Lord. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed family gatherings.
Florin leaves her son Blair (Barbara) and children Erika, Janna and Colin and daughter Alison (Stephen) and children Sarah and Courtney, and her beloved dog Este.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 4:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
