passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2008 at the age of 92 years. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret. He will also be missed by many friends. Fred was born in Bern, Switzerland, where he was a licensed mountain guide in his early years. After moving to Canada, Fred worked in a variety of occupations, which included working with horses in Eastern Canada, a surveyor on numerous projects, including the Mica Dam, as well as a livestock farm manager. In later years, he worked as a draftsman for the Department of Highways out of the Kelowna Court House. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 14th at 1:00 pm at the Springfield Funeral Home,2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC with Dr. Gordon Fletcher officiating.
