HACKMAN, GENE EDWARD
June 26, 1948 ~ April 12, 2014
It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our
father and friend Gene Hackman. He leaves behind his 7 children: Jeannie, Tanya, Kelli, Shelli, Traci, Robert and Jodi, 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and many loving friends. Dad was predeceased by both of his parents, George and Lena, as well as his two brothers, John and Bill.
Our father was a great lover of old cars and racing, as well as wrestling and, of course, fishing. He always had a smile on his face for all of his loved ones and big hugs. His vocation of driving eighteen wheelers brought him all over Canada and the U. S.; his loving personality always brought a smile to a stranger’s face. As per Dad’s request, there will be no funeral service. We will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
