It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guerino (Woody) DiLello, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Guerino was predeceased by his father Antonio, mother Flora and a baby brother. He will be sadly missed and forever loved by his wife Kathi, his daughters Corina and Heidi, their daughters River and Mia-Flora, by his father and mother in law Robert and Marguerite Carlson, brother and sister in law Robert Jr. & Sandy Lee and their daughter Jessilyn, brothers and sisters in law Michael and Anna, Nick and Bruna, Gino and Nancy, sisters in law Paola and Vince Buonomo and Mike Di Matteo and by his many nieces and nephews in Calgary and Toronto and cousins from the DiLello and Torriero families. Guerino passed away in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. He was born in Fossacesia, Italy and immigrated with his family to Canada. He lived in Toronto, ON, Calgary, AB, Armstrong, BC, then moved to Kelowna, BC. He had a very difficult childhood and struggled all his life due to having polio. He was very proud of his daughters and grandchildren. Five years ago he met his wife Kathi and she was truly the love of his life. He was also fortunate to have the love of his father and mother in law Robert and Marguerite. They loved him as if he were their son. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 1:00 at St. Charles Garnier Parish, 3645 Benvoulin Road, Kelowna. Interment to follow in Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.
