Born in Kelowna on August 15, 1926 and slipped away quietly on August 15, 2008. Gwen had many homes in her life but always kept Kelowna close to her heart. She is survived by Son, Jimmy (Donna); Daughters, Debbie and Pam; Grandchildren, Rob, Don, Amanda, Tiffany, Terri-Lynn, Christine, Frances and Richard; eight Great-grandchildren; Brother, Len Campbell (Barb). Gwen was also predeceased by Husband, Bob; Son, Neil; Daughter, Maureen; Brother, Jim; Sister In-law, Nellie and many other Nieces, Nephews, In-laws and friends. The family would like to thank the nurses at Kelowna General Hospital on unit 3E, Dr Rolf, Dr Sebulsky, Dr Mostowy and Dr Pasenau. A memorial service will be held on August 25, 2008 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Everden Rust Funeral Home, 1910 Windsor Road,Kelowna.
