LAWRENCE (HANNAH): DEBORAH ANN

May 29, 1952 - September 18, 2014

Debbie entered into eternal life on September 18, 2014 with family at her side, after a fierce battle with breast cancer, Debbie is survived by her husband and best friend Alan Lawrence. Her spirit is carried on by her children Brad Minnes (Rose); Carrie Woolley (Mike), Kelly Nuessler (Brad) and her step-son Geoff Hancock (Louise). She truly loved, adored and treasured time spent with her grandchildren Abby, Colton, Lance, Lilli, Annike, Emilie and Emmett. Debbie enjoyed a continuous close relationship with her parents Allen and Jean Hannah and her four younger sisters Pat, Sue, Nancy and Laurie and their families, all of Ontario. She will also be missed by her in-laws, relatives and friends especially her sister-in-law Tina Olma, Tina's husband Cam and their children Lexi and Sterling. Besides enjoying gardening and loving her 'new' kitchen, Debbie was an accomplished watercolour artist. The family would like to thank the staff at the Cancer Centre and Kelowna General Hospital for their care during Debbie's illness. According to Debbie's own wishes, there will not be a formal service. In lieu of flowers, the family would be honoured by any donations made to the BC Cancer Agency. http://bccancerfoundation.com/ways-donate/gift-memory.
