HAROLD GORDON of Peachland, BC passed away on February 18th, 2008 after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 61. Born April 29th, 1946 in Kelowna BC, Harold has been a life-long resident of the Okanagan. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, traveling and loved to watch his grandchildren participate in all kinds of sporting events. Harold is predeceased by his father, Gordon, mother, Dorothy and his brother Bill. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Margaret, daughters: Barb (Brian) Johnson of Peachland, Heather (Will) Schroepfler of Armstrong and Tracy Skarbo of Kelowna. Harold is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Jennie, Cody, Tatyana, Shea, Travis, Kurtis and Kadie, as well as his uncle James Wardlaw of Kelowna and many extended family members who will also miss him dearly. A Memorial Service will be held in the Westbank United Church at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 23rd, 2008 with interment to follow at Peachland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Lung Association, 2675 Oak Street, Vancouver BC V6H 2K2 would be gratefully received.
