WINKEL, HEINZ-JUERGEN
Went to be with his Lord, peacefully in his sleep on November 4, 2014 at the age of 87. Heinz was sadly predeceased by his wife Maria in 2013 and leaves behind many friends who remember him as a kind and compassionate person who had a great heart for all people he met. He came to Canada with his wife in 1975 where they managed the Brookside Residence with love and patience for the residents for many years. Heinz will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We would like to thank Dr. Steinruck, the staff and nurses at Three Links Manor for their compassionate care given to Heinz. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 13th at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chain of Love Homes, Brazil or B.C. Teen Challenge.
