May 12,1932-August 16, 2008. At 76, Hubert peacefully passed away with his family at his side. Loving memories will be cherished by his family. He leaves to mourn his wife (Edna), son (Richard) Kelowna, 3 daughters (Linda) & Brian Bassett ,Gilbert Plains, Mb., (Donna) & Dennis Cocar, Kelowna, (Connie) & Darrel Levesque, Saskatoon, SK., Also 6 grandchildren, (Rhonda) &Derrick, Swan River, Mb., (Calvin) Kamloops, BC., (Devin) & Anna, Kelowna, (Dawn) & Rob, Calgary, Ab., (Dustin) Mandy, Thompson, Mb., & (Brandi) Saskatoon, Sk. He also has 7 great grandchildren & brother (Melvin) & Dot, Flin Flon, Mb. Hubert worked as a miner for many years at Patrick Harrison and Inco in Thompson. He moved to Kelowna in 1981 and worked for Brenda Mines until shutdown. He enjoyed fishing and camping and being with his family. He was very loved and we will miss him dearly. Thank you to all the staff at the Kelowna General Hospital. A special thanks go out to Dr. J.D.Rolf and nurse Kerry for their loving care. As were Hubert's wishes cremation will take place and a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers and donations, go to Kelowna General Hospital (SCCU).
