FAULKNER, IRENE RACHEL
(NEE LUCHT)
Passed away peacefully on August 19, 2014 at the age of 86. She is survived by her loving family of four sons; Howard (Isabelle), Richard (Allana), Douglas (Trish) and Gordon (Irene). Irene was proud to have 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband Gordon in 2001 and their son Donald in 2004. Born in Luseland, SK on February 7, 1928, Irene moved to Fruitvale, BC with her family in the 1930’s. She met Gordon in Trail, BC and they were married on June 21, 1951. They moved to Kelowna, BC and in 1960 Gordon and Irene built a home in Westbank where they raised their family and remained for the rest of their lives enjoying the beauty and lifestyle of Westbank. Irene worked for Reece’s Westbank Fruit Packing House for many years where she met many lifelong friends. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Irene’s to the Canadian Lung Association or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
