It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather. Jacob is survived by his family: wife, Elsie; daughters, Dawna and Glenda (Mike); son, Nathan (Brenda); grandchildren, Jacob, Rachel and Nicholas. Also survived by his brothers, sisters and his many friends. Jacob enjoyed life and its adventures to the fullest. He had an entrepreneurial spirit that will not be forgotten. He loved his machines and enjoyed both his flying and motorcycle days. The most important focus in his life was his faith in God, his family and friends. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Willow Park Church or to Sutherland Hills Rest Home for the garden where we spent so many hours together. He will be missed! Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Everden Rust Funeral Services, 1910 Windsor Road, Kelowna. A memorial service will follow at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2008 at Willow Park Church, 439 Highway 33 West, Kelowna.
