TASCHUK - JAMES OREST Died on July 15th, 2015 in Kelowna, BC. He was born on May 22nd, 1937 in St Paul Alberta and served 25 years in the Canadian Armed Forces. Jim is survived by Sylvia, his wife of 55 years; their children Mike, Lee and Lois; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was an exemplary husband, father and grandfather and is greatly missed. James was involved with the Salvation Army and Kelowna Gospel Mission serving others in his community. A Celebration of James Life will be held from the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave , Kelowna on Saturday, July 18th, 2015 at 2:00 pm.
