CHAPMAN, JANET (NEE NISBET)

Jan was born into a large

family on July 26, 1917 in

Glasgow, Scotland. She

passed away on January

27, 2013 in Kelowna, BC.

Predeceased by four

sisters, three brothers,

husband Robert (Bob)

Chapman and son-in-law

Robert (Rob) McIntosh. Jan leaves behind daughters Cecilia (Bill) Adamson and Sheila McIntosh; grandchildren Chris (Jen), Craig (Heather), Heather, Scott, and Bryce; and great grandchildren Julia, Eli, Alex, Lily, Weston, and Kya. At the end of WWII Jan married a Canadian soldier, Bob Chapman. Together they moved from army base to army base before owning and

operating Trepanier Bay Cottages in Peachland. In 1964 they went to work in Yoho National Park. In 1975 Jan and Bob retired to the Mission area of Kelowna. Jan's last move was to Missionwood Retirement Resort.
