Joanne passed away on June 6, 2019 at the age of 72. She is survived by her sons Jason (Chelsey) and Christopher (Candace); grandchildren Jordan, Brianna, and Jared; sisters Loverna and Lorna (Ted), and brother Marvin (Adele). She was predeceased by her husband, Gerry; her brother Dennis; and parents Abe & Katherine.
Joanne had a long career working for School District 23 for 27 years and she volunteered in the community at various events. Her main focus was her family - she spent a lot of time either in the stands, on the sidelines or in theatre seats supporting her children and grandchildren's various activities.
