PETERS, JOHN

Passed away July 5th at his home in West Kelowna, BC. He was born January 5th 1939 near Lost River,

Saskatchewan. He is

survived by his wife Anne, daughters Angela (Everette Bacon) Peters, Holly (Adam) Hildebrandt, foster daughter Sylvia Kasokeo, three

granddaughters, brother Klaus (Lena), sisters Mary Hamm, Anna Neufeld, Katherine Penner, Margaret Buhler, Eva Ashdown, sister-in-law Herta Peters and extended

family.  He was predeceased by his infant son, his parents and his brother Jake, four brothers-in-law and one

sister-in-law.

John attended schools in Saskatchewan. At Moose Jaw Technical Institute in 1966 he received “Most Outstanding Student”  award. He worked for CFQC radio and television for 23 years, part-time at Saskatoon Centennial Auditorium (sound). He was known as a gifted musician. He was also known for his numerous recordings with and for groups in Saskatchewan. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held July 13th11:00AM  

at Willowpark Church, 439 Highway 33 West, Kelowna BC. Condolences may be sent to
