1930 – 2014
Joyce Darnall was born in Kamloops, BC, on January 20, 1930 and passed away November 6, 2014, at the age of 84. Mom was pre-deceased by her husband, Dan; sister, Shirley Posey; grandsons, Nik and Chris Klotz. She is survived by her sister, Andrea Paul, and by two daughters: Dana (Mark) Klotz and grandson Keith and Shelley (Michael) Lord and granddaughters, Rachel and Megan, as well as nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
We would like to thank the terrific staff of the Orchards at Lakeview Lodge who gave Mom such great care over the last year and especially in the last few days of her life. You are the Best!
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at 1:30 pm at First Memorial Funeral Home, 1211 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, BC. Reception to follow. A Celebration of Life will be held in Fort St. John at a later date. In lieu of flowers, we would request that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada (307 – 1664 Richter Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 8N3), the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation (8407 – 112 Avenue, Fort St. John, BC V1J 0J5) or a charity of your choice.
