passed away January 19, 2009 at Kelowna General Hospital. She was a loving wife to Bill and mother to Natasha, Amber and Matthew. She was a loving Grandma to Hannah. She was the daughter of Ron and Donna Scondo and sister to Lesia and Kent Binning, Juanita Scondo and Charlaina Scondo. She will also be missed by her mother in-law Betty Friesen and family. Karen was born August 28, 1960 in Georgetown Ontario. She met Bill in Kelowna and they married on July 11, 1981. They lived in Kelowna and Westbank. Karen enjoyed being a mom. She had a daycare for 22 years and loved many children. Karen loved to paint, cross stitch and work in her flower garden. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Special thanks to the ICU unit for the long loving care they provided. In lieu of flowers please give donations to the Kelowna General Hospital.
