went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2008 at the age of 90. She is survived by her loving family: two daughters, Rita Neubauer (John) of Cashmere, Washington, Renate Smith (Doug) of Vernon; son Walter Krahn (Linda) of Merritt; nine grandchildren: LaVerne (Arlin), Brigette (Carl-deceased), Rik (Isabelle), Brittany (Terence), Cameron, Jaclyn, Alison, Kaitrin (Josh), Colin; many great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; brother Peter Wiebe of Winnipeg and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Frank, three sisters and one brother. Katharina recently celebrated a wonderful 90th birthday with many of her family and friends in attendance. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 19th at 1:30 pm at First Mennonite Church, 1305 Gordon Drive, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 3E7, with interment to follow in the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.
