WILSON, KEITH ROY

Passed away in Kelowna, B.C. on June 29th, 2013

at the age of 64. Keith is

survived by Brenda his

loving wife of 40 years; daughter Sherri Wilson; granddaughters Elizabeth

and Sofia Marquez; brother Bob Wilson, in-laws Shirley

& Phil Franke and many

nieces and nephews. He

is predeceased by his

parents, Ken and Eileen

Wilson, in-laws Janet & Jack Coupland and brother Terry. Keith was fascinated by machines and speed.  In his teens, he was a champion soap box racer and he later went on to become a champion snowmobile racer. Keith was game to try any activity that had a motor or steep hill. In his younger days he was a bit of a daredevil.  He tried skydiving & scuba diving.  He was a licensed amateur pilot and proud owner of a single engine Cessna for a time. Professionally, Keith was a successful salesman and entrepreneur.  He founded the OK Corral nightclub with two partners in 1984 and The Pier Marine Pub with his wife in1988. During his retirement Keith enjoyed riding his motorcycle and travelling by motorhome. The family would like to thank the staff at the Hospice

House for providing Keith with care and support during

his last days.  A memorial service will be held on

Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at First Memorial

Funeral Services , 1211 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the

Canadian Cancer Society or the Hospice House.
