HANNAN, LEONA LOUISE
After a lengthy struggle with health issues, Leona passed away quietly at Kelowna General Hospital on October 10, 2014 at the age of 83. Survived by her loving family; Husband, Doug of 47 years; sons, Donald Hannan and Larry (Luc) Ripplinger; daughters-in-law, Debbie Ripplinger, Aline (Mitch) and Vance (nee Hannan); brother in-law, Dale (Evelyn) Otten; eight grandchildren, Chad, Leah, Lyle, Michelle, Cindy, Bret, Jason and Colin and Eleven great grandchildren. Leona was predeceased by two sons, Leonard Ripplinger in 2014 and Jerry Hannan in 2001 and sister in-law Karen Otten. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. No service by request. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the KGH – Interior Heart and Surgical Centre.
