passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the age of 84. He is survived by his loving wife Millie of 54 years; three daughters: Teresa Murphy (Tim) of Coquitlam, Coreena Bratina of Coquitlam, Nicolette Love (Bob Cole) of Westbank; son Leonard J. Love (Lona) of Coquitlam; ten grandchildren: Alysha Murphy, Carissa Murphy, Brennen Murphy, Darren Love, Kristina Hall, Brandy Love, Johnathan Bratina, Sabrina Hall, Bradley Bratina and Steven Bratina. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Lucy Love, two sisters Dorothy and Doreen and brother Ted. Leonard served in the Canadian Navy on the H.M.S. Nabob, the first Canadian manned aircraft carrier, for four years in the Atlantic. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 1st at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
