age of 90. She is

(Roland Simmons) Hunter, Jordan Padmos, Selene (Alex Sanchez) Pope, Jullian Pope, and Ivy Padmos. She was predeceased by her loving husband John Petro, son Rod Padmos, and grandson Wilson Padmos. Lorene loved
music and began playing the piano at the age of 8. She
was an accomplished pianist and was the last living
member of the “Johnny Petro Band” which was well
known throughout British Columbia and Alberta. Her music lives on through the music of several of her grandchildren; she was an inspiration to many. Lorene will be laid to rest
on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Lakeview
Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2850 Dry Valley Road,
Kelowna. A celebration of her life will be held in the early summer this year. Arrangements entrusted to
