passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the age of 74. Survived by her loving family, daughter Cindy (Roy) Favali of Vernon, son Randy (Janice) of Kelowna, four grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan & Rachelle Favali and Ashley Bartnick, brothers Eduard (Heidi) Berg and Siegfried (Urte) Berg both of Germany, sisters Wanda Wesenberg of Winnipeg, Nattie (Walter) Schindel of Lumby, Elsie (Oskar) Schur of Kelowna and Edith Kuester of Germany. Sadly predeceased by her brother Adolf and husband Eddy. Lydia was lovingly devoted to her family and friends and was an active member of the German Club where her love of dancing and card playing were fulfilled. Funeral Service will be held on Friday January 30, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Christ Lutheran Church, 2091 Gordon Drive, Kelowna. Cremation. Interment to follow at a later date.
