WILLIAMS (HAYES): LYDIA JANE
In Loving Memory Of. October 14th, 1919 - October 30th, 2013. Daughter of Neuman and Alice (Kennet) Hayes. Predeceased by daughters Beverly Ellan (1958) and Heather Leigh (2008) and husband Harry (1997). Still remembering the miracle of Lydia’s life and longevity (rheumatic fever as a child plus seven heart attacks) are her son Doug, two daughters Gail Prothman and Lil Kupser, and son-in-law Ken Kupser, plus ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and still counting. Mom, Grandma told us “Forgive everybody, including ourselves of everything. Hold onto the good memories and let go of the bad ones. Never stop giving back, and always be thankful even in those times we can’t seem to”. Lydia crocheted togues, scarves and afghans, giving to family and friends and many more to needy children and homeless. Thanks to all at The Blue Heron home in Lake Country for making her last year safe and happy and full of love. Thanks-you to all at the Kelowna Hospice House for your care and concern in her last days with us.
