VERNA, MARCELLO QUINN
With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Marcello Quinn Verna on March 2, 2016 in West Kelowna, BC after 20 short years. He will always be remembered for his contagious smile,
his big heart and his ability to make anyone feel like a friend. He enjoyed his high school days playing rugby
and avoiding all homework. He was a loving brother to Matteo and Linda; a loving cousin to Samantha (Jaime),
Danielle (John), Amanda, Giovanni and Matt; cherished nephew to Carlo, Jay (Kristy), Lia and Andy, and grandson to Linda. His mother Pamela, Aunt Heather, Uncle Mitch, cousins Summer and Braun, and Grandpa Harvey along with many cousins, classmates, and friends, will also miss him. He was a gentle, ticklish, protective young man that
we will all miss dearly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday March 11, 2016 at 11:00AM at St Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Immaculata Regional High School Drama Department in Kelowna, BC in Marcello’s name.
