MARGARET Mary, After a lengthy illness Margaret died peacefully at Douglas Fir Hospice in Kelowna. She was born and spent most of her life in Winnipeg, attending St. Edwards School, Convent of the Sacred Heart and St. Charles Convent. Margaret had a life long love of the Arts and music and spent many years as an office supervisor and accountant until ill health forced her to retire in 1990. In 1998 she moved to Kelowna where she made many good friends and enjoyed an active life. She was a member of the Okanagan Visually Impaired Society and participated in all their activities. She especially enjoyed the Tuesday Cribbage and rarely missed. Margaret is predeceased by our parents Albert and Sarah Bestick. She will sadly missed by her family. She is survived by her brother Tony (Pat) Bestick , her sister Madeline of Kelowna, nephews Michael of Langley niece Donna (John) Amadeo , great niece and nephew Hayley and Jeffrey Amadeo all of Burnaby. Flowers gratefully declined, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society to the C.N.I.B. or the Osteoporosis Society would be appreciated. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 839 Sutherland Ave on Wednesday, April 9th, 2008 at 10:30 AM. Cremation.
