Mary Katherine Johnson passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the age of 90. Survived by her loving family: son Bruce; two granddaughters Angela (Virgil) Cheever and Renee (Rod) Franzen; three great grandchildren Abigail, Chase and Dax; and her granddaughters mother Gwynne Johnson, all of Kelowna. Sadly predeceased by her husband Walter in 1993. For Mary, family always came first. She was very giving, loved animals especially her cat, enjoyed camping, knitting and sewing for her family and in later years doing jigsaw puzzles. Gramma will be remembered for her love of peonies. She will be dearly missed and in our hearts
