PETRIW, MARY
It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Petriw announces her passing on December 9, 2014 at the age of 89. She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters Joyce (Patrick) Konkin, Nanaimo, BC, Brenda (Dennis) Baumgartner, Calgary, Alta and son David Petriw, Calgary, Alta. Five grandchildren, Natasha Konkin, Vancouver, BC, Elena Konkin, Nanaimo, BC, Laura Petriw, Calgary, Alta, Bailey Petriw, Calgary, Alta and Nolan (Liz) Baumgartner, Utica, New York and great grandson, Jake Baumgartner, Utica, New York. Three brothers John (Catherine) Pankiw, Saskatoon, SK, Mike Pankiw, Melville, SK, Russell (Rosalie) Pankiw, Regina, SK, and three sisters Linda Simmons, Houston, Texas, Olga Kozy, Regina, SK, Darlene (Mike) Baron, Kelowna, BC. Numerous nieces and nephews. Mary is predeceased by her loving husband, George in 2002, her parents Wasyl and Katryna Pankiw, one brother, Nick Pankiw in 1984 and brother-in-law, Pete Kozy in 2002. A devoted family member and friend for many, she will be fondly remembered and missed by all who were blessed by her presence. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
