SOLOVEOFF, Mary
January 10, 1915 – August 28, 2009
Mary left us peacefully on Friday August 28, in
Victoria, B.C., at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Bill, in 2002. In her long life, Mary was blessed with excellent health, a bountiful garden and many caring family members and friends. She is survived by her daughters Eileen Johnson (Victoria) and Lorraine Kemp (Ottawa). She also leaves her cherished grandchildren, Glen Johnson (North Pender Island), Joanna Johnson (Victoria), Sara Kemp (James Murphy, Gatineau) and Colin Kemp (Kayo Yoshida, Ottawa). Mary will be remembered for her generosity, her hospitality, her devotion to her family and her ability to convince us all to eat at least that third helping. A private celebration of Mary’s life was held in Kelowna on October 3. Internment in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. What we have once enjoyed
