GIDDA, MEHTAB SINGH
Mehtab aged 83, of Westbank, passed away Saturday
March 23rd, 2013. He was
born on March 14, 1930 in
Lambra, Punjab. He married
the late Harjet Kaur Gidda in Lambra, Punjab and they
lived together there before
relocating to Westbank, BC
in 1958. Mehtab was a
hardworking farmer who
enjoyed spending as much
time out in the orchards and vineyards on his tractor.
He was a loving family man who took pleasure in spending time with his children and grandchildren. Mehtab is survived by his three sons: Sarwan, Nirmal and Kaldep; his nine grandchildren: Christina, Jacklyn, Neetu, Bobby, Minnie, Reema, Joey, Amit and Harish; and his great-grandchildren: Ishan, Gurvir and Arjun. He is also survived by his
siblings Juswant, Bakshish K., Malkiat K., and Beant K.,
Sadly predeceased by the Malkiat S. and Sital K.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations
be made out to the Central Okanagan Hospice House,
2035 Ethel Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 2Z6.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday March 30, 2013
at 10:00am at Springfield Funeral Home,
2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
