DEINSTADT-TURANEC, Michele Daniela It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michele after a courageous battle with cancer on June 24, 2009 in the Nanaimo Hospital Palliative Care. Michele fought cancer for
6 1/2 years, with such a strong will to live. She was born
August 2, 1986 in Vancouver, BC. She then moved and was raised in Kelowna, BC and lived in Nanaimo, BC with her husband and daughter. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Kevin and their daughter Natalie. Michele also leaves behind her mother Maria Levko, her father Ivan
(Esther) Turanec, her twin sister, Jessica Turanec (Ryan), sister, Tanya (Brandon) Britt, brother Rastik,in-laws Bruce and Pat Deinstadt, brother-in-law Brian (Layla) Deinstadt, her grandmother Pavlina Levko, Auntie Ann, Uncles Stefan , Laco and cousins in Slovak Republic, godparents Tony and Daniela Gaborik and their daughter Janet, nieces; Selina and Alexis, nephews; Stefan, Ayden, and Wesly, numerous aunts and uncles in Nanaimo. She will also be remembered by her friends Emily Kapush, her daughter Lilly and Leah Montgomery. Michele was an outgoing person who was concerned about her family and friends and always put the care of others before herself. She will always be remembered for her big caring smile. There will be a burial service held at 3:00 PM, on Monday July 6, 2009 at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. Immediately following the service we will celebrate Michele's life at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall. Thank you all for your prayers, love and support.
