PIERCY, MILDRED (MILLIE) Mar 29, 1928 - Sept 17, 2009
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we
announce the passing of Millie Piercy at the age of 81. With her family at her side, Millie left us peacefully and with great dignity after a very determined and courageous battle with cancer. She is dearly missed by her husband of 59 years, Chet; her brother John, her two children Ches (Cheryl) and Barb; three grandchildren Andrew, Graeme and Elizabeth and by many more relatives and friends to
numerous to list. The family wishes to express their
sincere gratitude for the outstanding care she
received from the Doctors, Nurses and staff at Kelowna General Hospital and the staff at Kelowna Hospice House in her last days. A service will be held at 2 P.M., Monday, September 28, 2009, at St. Paul’s United Church, 3131
