HIROTA, MITCH
March 11, 1956 – April 4, 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden
passing of Mitch, who died suddenly at the age of 57 years.
In his early years Mitch enjoyed fly fishing, camping, hiking in the mountains and photography. He loved Jeeps which
allowed him to explore areas off the beaten path. Mitch
will always be remembered as lending a helping hand in
the technology field. He helped people of all ages and his gentle manner allowed others to learn from him. His career spanned many years and locations where he was able
to make deep friendships. He was highly regarded by
colleagues, and his ability to resolve technical issues helped those close to him. In his last few years, he
volunteered his time with school field trips and
Christmas concerts.
Thank you to the dedicated paramedics and all the
staff at the Mazankowski Heart Institute for their
compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice. An informal gathering will be held at Serenity Funeral Service on Friday April 12, 2013, 7:00 – 9:00 pm, 5311-91 Street Edmonton, AB.
