With sadness we announce the passing of Mona Copping, formerly of Westbank, at Sutherland Hills Rest Home in Kelowna at the age of 91. Mona was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. First educated in Kennedy, Saskatchewan, she eventually graduated from the Miserecordia School of Nursing in Winnipeg. Mona was married in McLennan, lived in Lloydminster, Edmonton, Peace River and Kamloops. Mona was a long time member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Westbank. She was also a member and past president of the CWL. Mona is predeceased by her husband Howard and her son, Barry. She is lovingly remembered by her 3 sons, Ken and Michael of Kelowna, and Brian of Calgary; 2 daughters, Diana of Enderby and Patty of Jacksonville Florida; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
