STEWART, MURIEL GERTRUDE of Kelowna, passed away peacefully surround by her family at her side at Cottonwoods Extended Care on December 16th, 2014 at the age 86 years. Muriel is survived by her loving husband Glen, four loving children Glenda (Gord) Yanishewski, Wayne (Susan) Stewart, Kerry (Gene) Weninger, Jim Stewart. Muriel is also survived by her loving eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and her two sisters Doreen Girling and Shirley Hudson. A Celebration of Muriel’s Life will be held from the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave on Saturday, December 20th, 2014 at 10:00 AM. A private family inurnment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society, 865 Bernard Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y 6P6 in memory of Muriel.
