BONDEROFF - OLGA (NEE KONKIN) Passed away on May 20, 2015 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 71 years old. Olga was born in Trail and raised in Castlegar, BC. After high school, she moved to Vancouver andcompleted her Nursing Diploma at Royal Columbian Hospital in 1965. Olga met Phil Bonderoff in Vancouver, and they married in 1966. Together they welcomed two children into their lives. The family moved to Williams Lake, then Fruitvale, BC, before settling in Kelowna in 1985. Olga retired from her career as an ER nurse in 2000, and started her second career as volunteer extraordinaire. She gave many hours to a large variety of charitable and community organizations and events, right up until she became ill. Olga is survived by her husband Phil, two children Jennifer (Chris) and David (Janna), sister Helen Doucet, and the light of her life, her granddaughter Jordyn. She was predeceased by her parents Pete and Helen Konkin and sister Mary Coltart. Her family would like to thanks all the friends and family who assisted them in this difficult time, the staff of 4A and B, Central Okanagan Hospice House, as well as Dr. Hugo and the oncology department.
