MANGOLD, PATRICK
Patrick Paul Mangold, age
47, passed away in a tragic
accident on August 24, 2013. Predeceased by his mother
Betty Coutts, his father David Mangold, step-mom Anita
Mangold, and nephew Chandler Mangold. He is survived by
his amazing, beautiful daughters Jennifer and Sydney Mangold and Jodi Mellott, friend and
mother of his children, his
brother Rick and his family (Gus, Sarah, Christopher, Maia), sister Christine and her family (JD, Amanda, Frank, Tracey, Phoenix, Rayne, Payton), sister Barbara and her family (Gary, Kerri, Gavin), brother Mark (Diana), brother Bryan (Ellen). Patrick had a love for life, family, friends, sports,
water and animals, a smile that would light up any room
and a hug that made your worries go away. His
daughters Jennifer and Sydney were the love of his
life and his proudest accomplishments. He was known
for his great hockey skills; he played in the WHL and in
Europe where he broke records for his skills. He was also an excellent fastball pitcher, playing in many leagues.
Pat loved to teach and shared his skill with many. Jennifer and Sydney both became avid ball players. Patrick loved his work as a project manager and was proud of his many accomplishments. Some of his favourite things included
being on the water, in the outdoors, his dog Shrek, Margaret Bay, and most of all being with his family and friends.
Patrick was a good man who was loved deeply. We will miss you, our father, our brother, our friend. A Memorial
for Patrick Mangold, will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Kelowna Memorial Arena, 1424 Ellis Street, Kelowna, BC. Friends are invited to come
celebrate his life and share stories.
