Peter passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the age of 86. He is survived by his loving wife Agnes; daughter Anna (Calvin) Harper of Thorhild, AB; grandsons Darren (Karli) and Cory (Sara); 2 great-grandchildren Kyra and Leo; sisters Dora and Ivanka of Slovenia; and brother Ciril of Slovenia. He is predeceased by his sister Marija.
A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at 6:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2547 Hebert Road, West Kelowna with Father Wayne Pfliger officiating.
Interment to follow at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. Should family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Peter's name to the Canadian Cancer Society, www.cancer.ca.
