passed away at home Tuesday, May 27, 2008 with family by his side after a valiant battle with cancer. Born August 22, 1938 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Ralph is survived by his best friend and loving wife Jessie, of 47 years; daughters Debra (Rick) Miller, Tricia Ritchie, and Donalda (Chris) Ritchie; Papa’s two very special grandchildren Shelby and Logan Miller; brothers Alvin (Beth) Ritchie – Kamloops and Ron (Judy) Ritchie – Halifax; nieces and nephews; and the many close friends with whom he shared his passion for life. Ralph was predeceased by his loving parents Beryle and Clarence Ritchie. A celebration of Ralph’s life will be held 11am on Monday, June 2, 2008 at First Memorial 1211 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, BC. Internment will follow at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ralph’s memory may be made to Holding Hands for Hospice.
