It is with great sadness we announce the death of Reginald Robert Harker. He passed away peacefully at the Summerland Extended Care Centre on September 14th, 2008 at the age of 84. Reginald was predeceased by his wife of 50 years Norma, his father Lloyd, his mother Gertrude his brothers Roy of Halifax, NS and James of Vancouver, his daughter-in-law Dixie of Fort St. John and his granddaughter Rhonda for Beaverlodge, AB. Left to mourn his passing are his sister Gladys of Aldergrove, BC, his children Marilyn Wilson / Arsenault (Marty), of Kelowna; Dennis (Arda), of Lumby and Garry of Fort St. John, BC along with six grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday September 23rd in the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Avenue. We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Summerland Extended Care facility for the kindness and care they gave Reginald.
