BROWN, RICHARD GLEN

January 31, 1938 ~ October 2, 2015

Glen passed away peacefully in Kelowna, BC after a two year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife and best friend Patricia (Ball) of 52 years;  his three children, Ross of Vancouver,

Sandra (Stan) Solski and Catherine (Kevin) McAvoy of Kelowna; four grandchildren, Amber, Kayle Johnston, Aaron Solski and Andrew McAvoy.

He also has his one adorable great granddaughter Shy-Anne Johnston. Besides his family in Kelowna, he is survived by his sister Diane Trovato and extended family in Ontario, Manitoba and B.C.  Glen was predeceased by his parents Winnifred and Harry (Bud) in 1969. Glen was born in Kenora, Ontario and spent his early life there. The family moved to Winnipeg in 1951. Glen attended Laura Second School and Gordon Bell High School. After High School Glen went to work for MTS. He remained at MTS from 1957 until 1975 when he re-located to Kelowna, BC. He was employed by OK Tel and the BC Tel until he retired in 1996.

After retiring, Glen enjoyed travelling with Pat to various points in the U.S. and Canada. Many thanks to Dr. G. Chamberlain and the staff of KGH and Hospice House. All arrangements in care of Everden Rust Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to
