enjoyed his last ride on Sunday, October 26, 2008 on his favorite Westside Road. Rick was born December 30, 1952 in Stockport, England and moved to Canada with his family in 1966. Rick made his home in Calgary, Jasper, Golden and Kelowna, and was a longtime surveyor with Fritsch Land Surveying. He is survived by his beloved mum Alice, father Norman, sister Pamela (Peter) and children Julie & David, brother Robert (Kim) and children Emily & Ashley, brother Andrew (Robin) and children Rachel & Allison, aunt Joan, cousins Billy & Christine, loving girlfriend Neva, her parents Shirley and Paul, her brother Andrei and many wonderful friends in several communities. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, November 3, 2008 at 1:00 pm from Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road. A reception for family and friends will be held afterwards.
