GATENBY, ROBERT JOHN
1921 ~ 2012
Robert John Gatenby who was
born on April 3, 1921 in Weyburn Saskatchewan passed away
peacefully on August 22, 2012 in West Kelowna at the age of 91.
Bob is survived by his great nephew David (Tanya) Miles and their
daughter Alexis; numerous relatives in Alberta and Saskatchewan,
including his great niece Jennifer (Darcy) Golden and their daughters Tiffany and Mackenzie. Bob was predeceased by his loving wife
Ethel Marion Gatenby in 2009. He was a proud member
of the Royal Canadian Legion for over 50 years. Bob’s
family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Brookhaven Care Facility for caring for Bob during his final years there.
A Graveside Memorial Service will take place on
Wednesday August 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the
Westbank Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in
Bob’s memory can be made to Brookhaven Care Facility,
1775 Shannon Lake Road West Kelowna, BC. V4T 2N7.
