MACDOUGALL, ROBERT FRANKLYN

Robert Franklyn MacDougall (86) Bob passed away Friday morning, April 1st, 2016, following a long illness with

cancer.  In his working years he was a grain farmer in Lashburn, SK (25 miles east of Lloydminster) until he retired in the late nineties.  His first wife Mary Sanford MacDougall died of cancer in 1997, followed by his sister Geri Williams of Westlock, AB, and his brother Jack MacDougall of Edmonton. He is survived by his second wife Jackie Pare MacDougall of Kelowna, his two sons Rob (Shannon) of Lashburn SK, Ron (Jane) of Revelstoke, BC, his two granddaughters Melissa MacDougall (Tim Toth) Chase MacDougall great-grandson, Megan Render (Shane) of Alberta, his two grandsons Laird MacDougall of Kelowna and Logan MacDougall of Revelstoke, his nephew Don Williams (Dorothy) of Calgary, his stepson Mario Pare (Barbara) of Kelowna and stepdaughter Carole Pare of Toronto.  Bob was a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner for many years.  His passion for curling was well known as he really enjoyed being a skip on the rink.  He spent many hours in his retirement doing painting and carving. He loved traveling and wintering south of the border. In later life he developed a liking for cruises and took many cruises all over the world.  Amber, his beloved dog, will miss him just as much as his family & friends will.  Let’s celebrate Bob’s life on Saturday, April 9th, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. at Everden Rust Funeral Services, 1910 Windsor Road, Kelowna, BC.
