We are sad to announce the passing of our dear Ronald "Ronnie" Bertuzzi. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 61 years, Georgina Giacinta (nee DiDomenico), his sister Joanne (Dan) Bell, his children Elizabeth (Stephan) and Anthony (Pam), and grandchildren Christian, Lauren, Aiden, and Cohen.
Ronnie was born in Trail to Antonio and Rose. He moved to Vancouver to complete his BA at UBC. After graduating in 1966, Ronnie began a successful career in pharmaceutical and medical imaging sales that spanned nearly 40 years. Once retired, he enjoyed spending winters in Palm Desert and summers in Kelowna. Ronnie loved being surrounded by his friends and family, living his life with kindness, generosity, and humour. He was always the first one to lend a hand or share a laugh. He will be missed by many and remembered by anyone who was lucky enough to have caught his eye.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 29th, at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Vancouver, with a reception to follow.
