VERKIRK, ROSELLA HELEN
Rose Verkirk passed away
on May 10, 2014 in Kelowna,
BC at the age of 89 years.
Rose will be lovingly
remembered by her sisters:
Doreen Schommer, SSND,
and Rita Engel; her sister-in-law Hilda Schommer; and numerous nieces and nephews and
extended family.
Sadly, Rose was predeceased by her parents; her husband
Harry; and 9 siblings: Agnes, Josephine, Henry, Joe,
Mary, Anne, Andrew, Alfred, and Ella.
Rose enjoyed many years in Kelowna, especially
her final years at Sandalwood. She will be missed
by all who knew and loved her.
Prayers will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from the chapel of Valleyview Funeral Home,
165 Valleyview Road, Kelowna, BC. A Funeral Mass will
be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2014
at St. Theresa’s Catholic Parish, 750 Rutland Road N.,
Kelowna, BC, with Father Otto Rollheiser, celebrant.
