DUNLOP, Russel Milton passed away on September 14, 2016 at Kelowna, BC at the age of 62 years. Russel is survived by his loving wife Judy of 39 years; son Shaun (Michelle) and daughter Melissa (Jeremiah); three grandchildren Aiden (8), Elizabeth (8) and Jacinda (3); five sisters Lois, Linda, Gail, Merle (Mert) and Melody. Russel was predeceased by his parents John (Jack) and Grace Dunlop. As a child Russ enjoyed spending time with his family camping and water skiing. Russ worked at Tolko Mill in Kelowna, BC for 30 years. He played softball for many years and as he got older he traded his ball glove for golf clubs,. As a member of the Kelowna Army and Navy, Russ was an avid golfer with the Divets Club at Michael Brook Golf Club. In his later years Russ enjoyed listening to the oldies in the backyard visiting with family and friends. In late 2015 Russ was diagnosed with cancer and after a long battle, sadly lost his fight to the disease. He will be remembered by all those who knew him and loved him. We would like to thank the nurses of the Kelowna Interior Health and the staff of the Central Okanagan Hospice House for all the compassion and care they provided. There will be a Memorial Service at 1:00 pm, Thursday September 22, 2016 at Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road. Memorial donations in Russ’ name may be made to the Central Okanagan Hospice,
