MCRORIE- Sandra E. (Wiig)
Our loving mother and grandmother Sandra E. McRorie (Wiig) died peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2009 after a brief struggle with cancer. Daughter of Arnold & Blanche Wiig born Sept 17, 1945. Sandra grew up in Kelowna and Westbank :) with a loving sister, wonderful cousins and great friends. She married Bill McRorie in June 1966 and raised two children in Coquitlam, BC. Sandra spent the last seven years at home in Green Bay, Westbank. She experienced life fully, meeting challenges and people with an infectious sense of humor and Godly grace. She is survived by her children Heather (Jeff) Benna, Bill (Lisa) McRorie, grandchildren Holly, Max, Jenaya, Wilson and Autumn, sister Sherene (Don) Youngberg, niece Brytann and nephew Morgan. Predeceased by her parents Arnold and Blanche. Family would like to thank the compassionate nurses and staff on the fourth floor at KGH. Join us to celebrate Sandra’s life on Friday October 23, 2009 at 1:30 pm at Westbank Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3155 Glenrosa Road, Westbank. Mom was a beautiful lady with a beautiful heart; her legacy of love is a testament of God’s goodness.
