Passed away on Wednesday, February 18th, 2015 at the age of 73. Survived by her loving husband Ivor of 53 years; two brothers Bernie (Kerry) Chmilar of Grand
Prairie, AB and Leonard (Linda) Chmilar of Berwyn, AB; two sisters Valerie
Chmilar of Grimshaw, AB and Glenna (Pat) Eastman of Brownvale, AB; brother-in-law Barry Harley, numerous nieces and nephews and special friends Carmen and Gary McDonald, Jim and Gabbi Beyers and Andrea Heart and their families. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Olga Chmilar and her parents-in-law Ivor and Mabel Palser. During her working life Shirley was a stenographer; she was very creative and involved in 4H for years, winning many trophies. Shirley loved working in her garden and had a ceramic shop in her home for 15 years. She will be dearly missed.A memorial service will be held at a later date.
